Winter Mixer

Friday night was A's first dance at school, the White Country Christmas mixer. It was a casual western theme with a mechanical bull ride. A wasn't too excited about the theme but we found a dress for her to wear and some cute boots at Target.


We invited a few girls over for pizza and primping before the dance.


She wasn't up for answering many questions about the evening. In fact she practically growled at me and told me I was asking too many. I did get that she had fun, she did not ride the bull, but her friends did including her cousin E but she didn't think she should have to name anymore, and the most important, she did not slow dance with a boy. I think they had fun.
