A made it into the school spelling bee this year. She wasn't super enthusiastic about it. In fact she told me she was going to make sure to go out in the first round.
I was glad that she didn't do that. She didn't win, but she did well and made it through 6 rounds.
I hope she is as proud of herself as I was.
